How to get to Panampangan?
There are two options getting into Panampangan:
The first option to get here is by riding a motor launch (lantsa) from Bongao, the capital of the province. The motor launch would take you to the Bannaran Island of Sapa-Sapa for about three hours from Bongao pier. Bannaran is the capital town of Sapa-Sapa municipality, so from here you can rent a pump boat or speed boat that would take you to Panampangan Island.
The second option is by renting a speed boat from Bongao that would take you directly to Panampangan Island. Though, it is quite expensive but your time would be saved because riding speed boat would only consume your time for less than hour in the travel.
Panampangan Beach is famous for its white sand and longest shoreline in Mindanao.
The shoreline connects to the other Island 'Basah Bulih" for more than one kilometer away.
