The Candidates for Budjang Tawi-Tawi 2009
The pageant is on the night of September 26, 2009.
--------------------
The world (perhaps not entirely) is celebrating Eidl Fitr today, September 20, 2009.
Tawi-Tawi is also celebrating today. So, I wish you all a happy and blessed Eidl Fitr. May all our sacrifices be accepted by the almighty Allah.
It is a common tradition among Tausugs, Samas, and Badjaos to give money to little kids and poor who come to their houses during this time. There are also lots of food.
After long time of sacrifice in Ramadhan, people will celebrate today. So, if you are in Tawi-Tawi now, you are very lucky. ;) Better get ready and visit friends and relatives. Take Care.

These photos are just some of the scenes you will find if you go to Bongao Market during the month of Ramadhan.
September is a very special day for Tawi-Tawi. It is when the said province was founded. To be precise, it was on September 27.
This year is the 36th Kamahardikaan sin Tawi-Tawi.
It has been a tradition for the province to celebrate annually.
For two years now, the celebration have not been that fun because of the month of Ramadhan. But this year, it is expected to be just like what the previous years have been.
There will be lots of programs for the last week of September. These includes the Budjang Tawi-Tawi 2009 and the Pagbanding sin Kakaingat Magkalang Ha Tawi-Tawi.
There will be ball games, and the Governor's Cup on shooting, etc.
For sure, this year's event is hella great.
