Since Tawi-Tawi is located at the southernmost part of the Philippines, you need to go to Zamboanga City first. How? Okay, you can choose whether to ride on an airplane or ship. That may depend on your budget. :D

Now, you are in Zamboanga City. What's next?

You are now ready to take off for Bongao. Bongao is the commercial center of Tawi-Tawi. You have three choices to reach Bongao. One is via airplane. Another is via ship. And the last is via Lantsa. This again depends on your budget. Airplane costs at about two to three thousand pesos ( I think.). Ship costs at nine hundred to One thousand pesos. And Lantsa will cost you from the range of four to six hundred pesos.

And wallah. you are now in Bongao. From here, you can choose either to just stay here. OR get yourself an adventure to the other islands in Tawi-Tawi. Remeber, you have a hundred and seven islands to choose from. And that will depend on the budget. But less worries because FOOD IS CHEAP in Tawi-Tawi. If you don't have money, just go and fish at Sanga-Sanga Bridge. ;)
