Okay! The statement above may look as absurd as the one writing this, but I tell you, it is true. (ahem.) People in Simunul are really beautiful. You do not agree? Go to Simunul and see for yourself. haha.


Simunul is a municipality in the province of Tawi-Tawi, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 31,962 people in 4,910 households. The language spoken is Sama. The first Muslims in the Philippines are said to have arrived at Simunul.


Simunul is an island with no mountain. If you are in Bongao, you will see Simunul when you are in Pasiagan. Simunul can also be viewed from the Capitol building. When you see a mountainless island, then that is it. ;)
